Held just outside of Athens, Sara and Cason said "I do" on the stunning 100-acre grounds of The Venue at Aberdeen. The couple envisioned a wedding day filled with Southern charm and timeless elegance, and Aberdeen was the perfect choice. Sara grew up just outside the area and was raised by a farmer, making the venue feel especially meaningful. For Cason, an avid outdoorsman, the property's scenic lake and the rustic charm of the groom's cottage made it an easy favorite.

With expert planning from Gilly Francis Events, every detail of the celebration came together beautifully. Thoughtfully planned from start to finish, the day reflected the couple's vision while creating an unforgettable experience for family and friends. Sara selected a timeless black-and-white color palette, while JL Designs Weddings brought her vision to life with elegant white florals that complemented the venue's natural beauty.

The ceremony took place overlooking one of the property's ponds, with the charming chapel creating a picturesque backdrop. Sara wore an elegant strapless gown from Southern Charm Bridal and Dress as she walked down the aisle to live ceremony music by Steve DeLaigle. Her timeless low bun with soft face-framing pieces, paired with natural, glowing makeup by Classic City Makeup, completed a classic bridal look. Surrounded by loved ones, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony that perfectly reflected their love story. Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into an elegant reception where the black-and-white palette's natural appeal continued. With rentals from Oconee Events and Barrons Rental, the venue was transformed into a sophisticated celebration that balanced refined style with warm Southern charm. Guests enjoyed a delicious Southern-inspired dinner prepared by Up in Smoke Catering, a menu that paid tribute to the couple's roots. The Posh Cakery created a beautifully classic wedding cake that quickly became a focal point of the evening as Sara and Cason shared their first slice.

As dinner came to a close, the celebration shifted into high gear. Sounds Right Entertainment kept the dance floor full all night long, creating an energetic atmosphere that had guests celebrating alongside the newlyweds until the very end.
