Some weddings truly remind us that the most meaningful celebrations are filled with the most intimate moments. Katherine and Joshua's wedding, held at the Burge Club, was just that. A heartfelt weekend surrounded by the people (and puppies) they love the most.

Settled on a 1000 acre historic hunting property, the Burge Club provided the perfect venue for a relaxed and beautiful wedding weekend. With a collection of charming cottages, allowing family and friends to stay together on the property, the Burge Club gave everyone a weekend of comfort and charm.

Katherine envisioned a timeless color palette of soft blues paired with crisp white and lush green florals, thoughtfully brought together by JL Designs. With the help of planning from Gilly Francis Events, every detail of the wedding came together beautifully. Each element complemented the natural beauty of the venue while also creating an elegant atmosphere perfectly reflecting the couple’s style.

The personal touches of the wedding were truly unforgettable. Katherine’s cousin, a beautiful, talented violinist, Ehrbright Music, performed during the ceremony, adding a deeply personal touch to the processional. Katherine, looking absolutely stunning thanks to Bombshell Creations, made her way down the aisle with beauty and grace. Joshua's face lit up as he watched his bride meet him at the altar.

Of course, no description of the wedding would be complete without the mention of their beloved dogs. Their furry, four-legged family members were crucial to their special day. The pups made their way down the aisle and greeted the couple with excitement and joy. The dogs were thoughtfully incorporated into many details of the wedding, including an appearance on the cake from Baby Cakes Baker.

After a deeply personal ceremony, guests made their way to the reception where they shared a charming ice cream experience from Last Call Events and Co. The reception space was carefully designed with elevated rentals from Lake Oconee Events; the space was a perfect blend of classic elegance and cozy charm.

Guests danced the night away as Athens DJ brought the beat and provided a night of joyful celebration. Rachel Sarah Folsom captured every moment with timeless photos throughout the entire day. While Goins Videography captured every movement with flawless videography. The couple can now relive their wedding day for years to come.

Guests enjoyed several unique experiences during the reception, making it especially memorable. Watch Maggie Paint created a live painting as the evening went on.

When the night came to a close, Katherine and Joshua proceeded through an elaborate light tunnel created by Kristen Martin. What a fun way to end the most perfect day. The Payne wedding was unforgettable, and the couple's personalities ebbed and flowed throughout the weekend. Every detail reflected the sweet couple.
